This style of collar is very comfortable and is one of the easiest collars to put on and take off. The tab gives an extra bit of length to your leash, and the leather slide moves back and forth to open and close the collar.  Tab martingales are nice for walks but are not meant to be left on the dog.  If you're one who doesn't keep a collar on your dog at home, this can be an excellent choice.  This type of collar is common for sighthounds, but really any breed can wear it well.
