Size is based on the inner circumference of the bracelet.  Measure your wrist where you would like the product to lie and determine if you will be happy with the fit.  For example, if you measure your wrist at 6" and you order a bracelet with a 6" inner circumference, it will fit without a lot of movement.  If you are more comfortable with a little movement (looser fit), then the next size up may be preferable.
